Before joining CSM in 1996, Steve Schlundt spent ten years with Marriott International as a general manager at properties across the country. Together with the other founding members of CSM’s lodging group, Schlundt helped to renovate, build, and open almost all of the hotels CSM owns today. Now, as a regional vice president, he motivates and encourages the people at his properties to stay accountable, profitable, and customer-orientated. Schlundt enjoys challenges in both his personal and professional life and has recently completed his second triathlon. He is married with one daughter.

As the President of CSM Lodging, the hotel division of CSM, Robert Dann is poised to augment the impressive growth this area has experienced since its inception in the early nineties. While working his way through the ranks of the hospitality industry, Dann has acquired first-hand experience and knowledge that encompasses multifarious sectors of the hotel business. His vision and CSM’s drive for success have joined together to create a team approach to achieving the best in revenue, profit and quality. 
Before joining CSM in 2006, Dan Peterson accumulated over 20 years of hospitality experience with companies like Marriott International, the Intercontinental Hotel Group and Meyer Jabara Hotels. With a plethora of operations experience as an area, regional and general manager, he has the skill set to lead his properties to success as a regional vice president. Dan’s duties include the operations of hotels in the northwestern United States as well as the Minneapolis and Milwaukee areas. A Spokane, WA native, Dan enjoys being with his wife and two young children, improving his golf game and playing the drums.
Nationally identified as a top sales and marketing expert, Joel Carver adds 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Formerly with Vizergy and B.F. Saul Company, Joel has worked with efforts in internet marketing, revenue management, and other sales strategies. Joel’s skills reinforce CSM Lodging’s efforts as it positions itself to capitalize on future opportunities. In 2007, HSMAI recognized Joel as one of the "25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Sales in Marketing," and he has won several Adrian Awards for Excellence in Internet Marketing. Away from work, Joel is a classical musician and enjoys travel and spending time with friends and family.
