Gary Holmes - President and Chief Executive Officer

Cade Award, an award that recognizes and honors outstanding entrepreneurial attributes, the ability to recognize opportunity, successful resource acquisition, organizational development, personal ethics, and contributions to the community. This award exemplifies the business attributes and life Gary has been building.

As President and CEO of CSM Corporation, Holmes led his company from its basic beginnings as a property management company through prosperous times as a real estate powerhouse. His “can do” attitude, work ethic, and focus, his strive for integrity and honesty, and his uncanny understanding of business and risk taking has helped him to create a company known and recognized nationwide for its unique approaches to design and development, quality management, and superb customer service and maintenance.

Holmes has used his Midas touch to raise, renovate and restore residential, commercial, industrial, and hotel properties across the United States. Additionally, his philanthropic contributions to various causes and volunteer efforts complement his dedication to the communities where he does business.  

In 2005, Holmes was a recipient of the University of Minnesota’s highest alumni honor – the Outstanding Achievement Award. This honor recognized his work in the world of business and the community - further proving that Holmes and CSM have not lost sight of the original vision or the entrepreneurial spirit needed to develop real estate for people, businesses, and communities.  Incorporating that vision and spirit with meticulous strategic planning, CSM Corporation is well-poised to develop current assets to their fullest potential as well as acquire new properties and expand its portfolio for the next thirty years and beyond.

Peter Michielutti - Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
 

Peter MichieluttiPeter Michielutti serves as the vice president and chief financial officer for CSM Corporation. Michielutti’s primary objectives include overseeing the company’s financial operations, developing new processes and aligning systems that will allow CSM to expand and to grow exponentially with new ventures.

Prior to joining CSM in 2009, Michielutti gained over 25 years of managerial experience in a variety of finance-related roles. Most recently, Michielutti held executive positions with Fingerhut, US Bancorp, Wilsons Leather, and Whitehall Jewelers. Over the course of his career, he has had the opportunity to work around the country with a variety of diverse organizations. Additionally, Michielutti has experience working with companies who have experienced rapid growth and with those who have experienced financial challenges. His broad base of knowledge will be integral to CSM’s strategic growth.

 
 
Mary Weber - Vice President of Human Resources
 
Mary WeberMary Weber, Vice President of Human Resources, joins the CSM executive team, adding over 25 years HR experience to help leverage our critical human assets and to support and improve some of the company’s primary internal operational systems. Formerly holding leadership positions with Fireside Hearth & Home, Fredrickson Human Resources Consulting, and Prisym Group, Weber is poised to take on the current initiatives within CSM. Her knowledge and business acumen will also be utilized to augment the company’s diverse business objectives while developing talent to support future growth.
 
 
Bill Franke - General Counsel
 
As the acting General Counsel for CSM since 1993, Bill Franke has played an integral role in the growth of CSM and its broad and diverse portfolio of hotel, commercial, and industrial properties. At present, as the leader of CSM’s Legal Department, Franke continues to be a key participant in the development and implementation of strategic plans, necessary to support the continued growth and success of the company.
 
 
Tom Palmquist - Vice President of Commercial Properties

Brad Kittleson PictureIn a career spanning more than 20 years of real estate development, leasing, financing and asset management, Tom Palmquist, CSM's vice president of commercial properties, has earned a reputation for adding value to projects. Tom listens to customers and communities, melding the correct tenant mix with the right financial solutions to generate the greatest success. From selecting sites and procuring entitlements to finalizing end user agreements and asset stabilization, Tom is involved in all components of CSM's commercial real estate ventures. Before CSM, Tom served as president of Robert Muir Company, where he oversaw development, leasing, asset financing/disposition and management activities. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Minnesota Shopping Center Association.

 
Brad Kittleson - Vice President of Property Management
 

Brad Kittleson PictureSince 1988, Brad Kittleson has been a driving force in the success of CSM. As the Vice President of Property Management, his knowledge, leadership style, and work ethic have blended well with the goals of the company to produce award-winning results.  Kittleson oversees CSM’s Residential department consisting of over 3,500 rental units in eleven states and housing over 10,000 residents. He also leads the Commercial Property division with 110 properties in six states as well as CSM’s in-house maintenance team, ProTech.
