The Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot, and the Residence Inn Minneapolis Downtown at The Depot hosted the Greater Minneapolis Hotel Association’s annual fundraising event in September, benefiting the Hospitality Minnesota Education Foundation Scholarship Fund.
A highlight of the event was the highly competitive “Best Food Station” contest, where the Renaissance culinary team earned top recognition. Led by event committee leader Willy Gibson, general manager of the Residence Inn Minneapolis Downtown at The Depot, the team delivered an exceptional dining experience that captured the attention of both judges and attendees.
In addition to the culinary victory, the event raised $4,200 for the Hospitality Minnesota Education Foundation Scholarship Fund, supporting the education and development of future hospitality professionals.
