Patrick Short

Executive Vice President of Lodging and Residential

Patrick Short brings more than 30 years of hospitality experience to his role as Executive Vice President of Lodging and Residential at CSM Corporation. In this role, he provides strategic leadership and operational direction for both the hospitality and residential portfolios, ensuring excellence across all properties.

Throughout his career, Patrick has worked with more than 25 hotel brands, ranging from boutique properties to large convention hotels, as well as independent, premium-branded, resort, dual-branded, and lifestyle hotels. His experience spans full-service, select-service, extended-stay, and independent properties, with operational leadership in over 30 states.

Before joining CSM, Patrick held executive leadership roles at multiple hospitality companies, including Wischermann Partners, TPG Hotels & Resorts, and Aperture Hotels. As President of Peachtree Hospitality Management, he led the company’s growth from 27 hotels to 100 hotels with over 10,000 rooms. Under his leadership, Peachtree became one of the top 15 largest hotel management companies, earning multiple awards from Hilton, Marriott, and IHG, as well as recognition as a Best Place to Work by USA Today and Inc. 500.

Patrick is a servant leader who fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration. He believes in leading with positivity, celebrating others, and helping teams achieve their full potential.

Beyond his professional career, Patrick is committed to giving back, supporting organizations such as Feed My Starving Children, Ronald McDonald House, and Shriners.

Patrick holds a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and an MBA in Finance from Argosy University – Twin Cities. He is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) through the American Hotel & Lodging Association and holds a Food Safety Certification.

A Minnesota native, Patrick lives in Lakeville and has two grown children. He is a passionate Minnesota Vikings fan and enjoys traveling, great wine and bourbon, and listening to the Zac Brown Band.
